Meet our Alas
ALAS:
THE SCHOOL LIFE
Águia de Ouro, like all samba schools, is divided into sections also called wings.
Each wing is made up of more than one hundred members wearing the same costume and illustrating particular aspects of the plot where each has a well-defined role.
Its members parade along Avenida performing their choreography and singing the samba enredo throughout the parade.
The traditional Ala das Baianas, one of the most important in the school and, even though it is not evaluated on Avenida, is mandatory in the parade and worthy of total attention.
Each Ala has its own chiefs, who guide the components in training and throughout the parade on Avenida. In the concentration, ward heads are responsible for ensuring that the costumes are complete and in accordance with Carnavalesco's recommendations.

BATTERY FRIENDS
Ala composed of relatives and drummers, from where the name “friends of the battery” came up, making its debut at the Carnival of 2009.

The "Sobrou pra Nois" appeared on August 14, 1999, having changed its name to "Ala do Tripa" the following year.

In April 2016, the Ala Família Azul e Branco was born, which since then transmits joy and charisma on the avenue.

Ala Samba and União of Águia de Ouro was created in 2015 with the remnants of the former Ala do Auê.

Ala Samba Love and Tradition (SAT) emerged from a dream of creating a new Ala with its own identity.

METHANOL
It appeared in 1992, originating from a soccer team called Methanol, its players passionate about the school decided to create this Ala.

ÁGUIA PARTNERS
The Ala Partners founded on April 15, 2019 by people who love the carnival and the Golden Eagle.

SACODE
Ala Sacode appeared in 2007 and its debut on Avenida took place at the 2008 carnival.

In September 2016, Fernando and Márcio o Baiano founded the Ala Berço da Pompéia in order to bring together friends from Vila Anglo Brasileira.

Not just a Ala, but a group of friends with the same feeling and a common goal, the success of Águia de Ouro at the carnival in São Paulo.
